An Annual Celebration
Guru Poornima is a special evening in the traditional Yogic calendar. It is for honouring your teachers and spiritual guides. During the full moon every July millions of people across the globe celebrate this evening and re-dedicate themselves to their spiritual path.
As well as honouring our teacher and guiding light in yoga – the late Paramahansa Satyananda – we recognise all the great spiritual traditions, masters and teachers.
Feel free to bring a picture or statue your guru or inspiration to place on the altar.
