| Intermediate to advanced – Gaining depth of knowledge .
Duration: 5 months part-time or 20 days in residence.

This course deepens your understanding of yoga and moves into more subtle and transformative techniques.
Knowledge and experience are the two feet that carry you forward.
The emphasis of this course is understanding the deeper aspects of yoga and how to work with them. Chakras are a good example. Understanding the theory of chakras opens the door to deeper practice and experience.
Knowledge of your subtle body anatomy – chakras, nadis, koshas – is very transformative. It gives a profound understanding of the world around you and the layers of mind, body and spirit that make up human beings.
This course also covers yoga philosophy, understanding of how energy manifests, gunas (properties of nature), prana (vital energy) and the main energy pathways in the body.
Along with the knowledge comes specific practices to enliven, purify and enhance your subtle body. These techniques help to reveal that yogic knowledge is not just theory, but a reality that you can experience for yourself.
The ancient yogis speak of the wonders that exist within you and give a detailed road map on how to uncover it. The theory of yoga is a practical key that unlocks the mysteries of your deeper nature.
